Abby was a beautiful baby girl who was born to a mother and a father that did not marry each other. Her father saw her only a few times during the first years of her life. This song portrays his love for her, his desire to hold her and to sing to her, to be part of her world. He missed so much of that. Writing this lullaby for her provided some healing for him. Recording this song was important for him to let her know that he loved her and missed having her in his life. Her father is my son Brad. Abby is my granddaughter.
